How to Join or Leave the Open Beta (Steam & Android)

The Open Beta gives you access to upcoming features before they're available in the global version of Stumble Guys. Here's how to join and leave the Beta depending on your platform.

Supported Platforms

The Open Beta is currently available on:

  • Steam (PC)

  • Android (Google Play)

The Open Beta is not available on:

  • iOS (App Store)

  • Consoles (PlayStation, Xbox, Switch)

Steam – How to Join the Open Beta

1. Open your Steam Library and find Stumble Guys
2. Right-click and choose Properties
3. In the left menu, go to Betas

In the Beta Participation dropdown, choose: Beta-Open Beta.
Select this to trigger the Beta update.

Steam will now download the Beta version automatically.

Steam – How to Leave the Open Beta

  • Repeat the steps above to open the Betas tab
  • In the dropdown, select None
  • Steam will update the game back to the public version

Android – How to Join the Open Beta

  • Visit the Stumble Guys page on the Google Play Store

  • Scroll down to App support and look for “Join the Beta”

  • Tap Join

  • Wait a few minutes and update the app


4. Tap Join to enter the Open Beta

Android – How to Leave the Open Beta

  • Scroll to the bottom of the Stumble Guys Play Store page

  • Tap Leave under “Join the Beta”

  • Uninstall the game

  • Reinstall it — you’ll now be on the live version

  • You must leave the Beta before uninstalling or the Play Store will reinstall the Beta again.

Important: This process is handled by Google, not us — it may take a few hours or even a few days to complete. You will remain on the Beta version until the opt-out request is processed and the app store serves the public build again.

Notes & Reminders

  • Open Beta builds may contain unfinished or experimental content

  • Progress and purchases may not carry over between Beta and public versions

  • Bugs or visual issues are expected — that's part of testing!
