The physics system is designed to be fun, chaotic, and skill-based, with characters reacting to momentum, terrain, and abilities in exaggerated but predictable ways.
Jumping
Players can jump to clear obstacles, gaps, or other players.
Jump height and timing are consistent, but landing momentum can vary depending on slope and impact.
You can chain a jump into a dive for extended reach or faster movement.
Sliding / Diving
Tap the jump button again mid-air to perform a dive.
Diving increases your horizontal momentum and can be used to:
Cross gaps
Knock down opponents
Reach the finish line faster
You’ll slide briefly upon landing, which can help you get through tight spaces or under spinning obstacles.
Abilities
These are special abilities the player can acquire
💡 These abilities follow physics-based reactions—players hit at an angle may stumble, roll, or fall depending on momentum and position and the different abilities equipped.
Falling & Stumbling
You can fall or get knocked over by obstacles, terrain, or players.
Recovery time is short, but your character enters a ragdoll state briefly.
Colliding with other players (especially mid-dive or while being hit) can affect both of you.
Environmental Interaction
Surfaces like ice, slime, or conveyor belts affect movement:
Ice: Slippery, reducing friction and making turns harder.
Slime: Often pushes or flows in a direction, moving you along.
Spinners, bumpers, and cannons: Apply knockback force based on their speed and your angle of contact.
Overall, mastering physics like momentum, timing, and recovery is key to getting better at Stumble Guys.
Keep on Stumbling!
